The girls' football team won the Wickes Cup

Fleetville Junior School has scooped a remarkable four football trophies this year.

The girls’ team defended the league title and won the Wix Millennium Shied while the boys clinched the league and the City Cup.

The girls’ team, of Helen Ross, Carmel Ivers, Natasha Rajah, Millie Moore, Ida Sondergaard, Mia Allen, Zoe Cowan, Eliza Telford and Imogen Warwick, also finished runners up in the City Cup.

The boys’ team was runners up in the penalty shootout tournament and the Wix Cup and were qualifiers for the six-a-side competitions in both Year 5 and 6.

The league-winning B team consisted Dominic Burgess, Alex Laking-Jerez, Alex Raudnitz, Demus Collarbone, Hector Almela-Lozano, Sammy Gosine, Joseph Stone, Sujad Hussain, Tom Fletcher, Uzayr Khan, Rayhaan Rabi, Henry Cox, Sam Hicks, Alex Woodford and Aiden Smith.

The City Cup-winning squad was Cox, Leo Geymonat, Finlay Kilner, Sammy Gosine, Stefano Geymonat, Alex Lawlor, Harrison Smith, William Lankshear, James Justice and Sam Hicks.
