Diviney nets twice to seal cup victory

SCHOOL’S FOOTBALL: ST COLUMBA’S College Prep School U11s made it a double winning season with victory in the County Cup Final at Giles School in Stevenage

Ned Robinson put St Columba’s ahead against opponents Greneway Middle School of Royston and despite the opposition levelling, two goals from Danny Diviney ensured it was St Columba’s and not Greneway who would take the trophy home.

The victory is the school’s first County Cup win since 1994 and capped a great season following the seven-a-side team’s victory in the City Cup.
