COLNEY Heath FC has signed a new manager for the upcoming season.

Wesley Awad was announced as the new manager of the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side on Wednesday night via the club’s twitter feed, @ColneyHeathFC.

Awad will be joined by Mathew Chalkey, who has taken the assistant manager role, and new first team coach Glen Maybury.

The Magpies were without a manager for the majority of last year’s campaign after Glen Parry left over the Christmas period. Jamie Forster and Frank Patrick took interim charge.

Colney Heath finished last season in 13th place in the league.
