London Colney extended their winning run in the SSML Premier Division to five games with a 3-0 victory over Hertford Town.

Danny Fitzgerald scored the only goal of the first half, a left-foot volley, as the Blueboys led at the break. James Ewington doubled the advantage before scoring London Colney’s third and his seventh in five appearances since joining the club from Potters Bar.

The result means the Blueboys haven’t lost in the league since December 13 - a 1-0 loss to Colney Heath - and remain in 10th but just three points off sixth-placed Tring Athletic.

London Colney are back in action on Tuesday evening at Cockfosters, kick-off 7.45pm.
