Division Three of the Herts Advertiser Sunday League was the place to be for fine individual goalscoring perofrmances with two players scoring four goals.

Lee Bennett scored all four in Wheathampstead ‘89’s 4-2 win over Marshalswick Rovers, a result that returned them to the top of the division, while Reece Fisher’s quartet helped Parkbury defeat Brookmans Park ‘A’ 6-2.

Dan McArdle and Rory Smith also scored for Parkbury while Henry Chapman got both for Park.

Ceri Dix and Michael Ingram were on target for Marshalswick.

Royston Rangers Res as they lost 6-0 to Pioneer Selection for whom Jake Smith (two), Jimmy Talbot, Nathan Lock, Jamie Sharp and Tom Li scored.

Hanburys overcome Hatfield Mosquitoes 5-1 with five different scorers, Mickey Sinnott, Anthony Brown, Sean Kidd, James Hart and Joshua Whelan, and Blacksmith Res were 4-0 winners over St Albans Warriors.

Robert Forty got two and Jamie Bill and Lee Greenwood one each.

In the Premier Division there was a 1-0 win for Hilltop over Brookmans Park.

Two goals from star man Lewis Cocomazzi gave Blacksmiths a 2-0 win over CHL and keep them top of Division One.

Beehive came out with the win in a nine-goal thriller against Phoenix. Goals came from Zack Wallace (two), Billy Ordinaire, Leo Gibbon and Ben Awad while Dan Johnson, Jack Taylor, Bernard Bradshaw and Ally Hill got the Phoenix goals.

In Division Two there was a 4-1 win for Welwyn Warriors over Harpenden Colts OB after a burst of three goals in the final 10 minutes.

Welwyn’s scorers were Steven Mee, Jack Hutchinson, Allan Johnston and Alex Georgiou while Matt Bullock was on target for Harpenden.

Brookmans Park Res remain in good form with a 5-0 win over Mermaid. Adam Davies and Scott de la Fuente both scored two with Will Clark also on target.

Goals from Louis Apps, Robert Bennett and John Starnes enabled BWSC to defeat Wrestlers 3-2 while two goals each from Carlo Merenghi and Mark Lennon saw Snug Bar defeat Six Bells 4-1.

James Elliott’s goal for Skew Bridge Rothamsted wasn’t enough as they lost 4-1 to AFC Rangers in the Herts Sunday Cup but AFC London Road moved into the next round of the Herts Sunday Intermediate Cup with a fine 3-1 win over Hertford North End.

Sam Crafts, Spencer Clarke-Mardle and Michael Langton got their goals.

Blackberry Jacks needed penalties to beat New greens in the Herts Ad Knockout Cup after the sides had drawn 2-2 while a Will Chisholm saw Phoenix Res beat Plough & Harrow 1-0.

Jamie Jones, Sam Jones, Joe Adams an an own goal put Oaks through 4-0 against AFC Mymms.

Royston Rangers lost 4-3 in the Herts Ad Intermediate Cup to FC Potters Bar. Glenn Johnson with two and Ghilas Lounis got their goals but a hat-trick from Luke Watling and a Jon Walsh single saw Bar through.

And Hatfield Seniors defeated TNF 2-0 thanks to an own goal and one from Harrison Riseley.
