Boreham Wood and Hampton fixtures both postponed
ST ALBANS City’s Christmas fixtures both fell foul of the weather.
The Boxing Day clash with Boreham Wood was called off on Christmas Eve after local Championship referee Mick Russell had conducted a pitch inspection at Clarence Park.
The Saints’ game at Hampton & Richmond Borough on Tuesday also succumbed to the weather. A local referee had passed the pitch fit for play at 10am but the match official had concerns over the playing surface and called the game off just over an hour before kick-off leaving both teams to have a brief training session on the pitch before heading home.
