James Kaloczi has returned to St Albans City on dual-registration from Dunstable Town.

The youngster who came through the ranks at Clarence Park left in the summer to join the Bedfordshire side.

He had wanted to ply his trade at centre-half but couldn’t get any assurances from then manager Jimmy Gray that he would get a starting place.

However with Josh Staunton’s loan deal from Charlton Athletic coming to an end, Saints have moved quickly to bring the 21-year-old in.

A statement on the club’s website said: “The Club is pleased to announce that popular defender James Kaloczi has signed from Dunstable Town.

“Everyone at St Albans City welcomes James back to the Club.”

Kaloczi’s signing follows that of another centre-half, Andrew Iwediuno from Biggleswade Town, again on dual-registration.
