FIVE young swimmers from Verulam have qualified for British Age Group Categories for the first time.
In total 16 members of the club qualified for BAGCATs and the squad picked up 14 medals and set 40 personal best times. Medal winners were Michael Camerea, Tom Hayward, Georgina Thornton, Vickie Healey and Louise Lowe.
Other swimmers who set personal best times and performed well were Rob Van Tromp, Abbie Smith, James Devine, Charlotte Filmore, Chloe Arnold, Eloise and Stanley Tinkler.
