Colney Heath booked a place in the second round of the FA Vase with a 3-0 win over St Margaretsbury.
The Magpies took control of the game early on and went ahead on 11 minutes as Josh Humbert followed up a shot by Kevin Ashwood and slammed the ball home.
Heath continued to put pressure on the Saints’ back four and after a ball was cleared from a Heath corner, Jamie Eames was on hand to bury the ball into the bottom left corner from 25 yards, albeit with a slight deflection.
At 2-0 the second round beckoned and the game was put beyond doubt on 53 minutes as Ashwood cut in the left hand side, looked up and curled his shot over the keeper and into the top corner.
With St Margaretsbury hardly troubling Ricky Perks in goal and his steady and compact back four, progress into the next round was assured.
