Anna Patten, 15, achieved a dream when she represented England Women’s U15 side against Holland.

The Three Lions won 3-0, with the centre-back playing her part in helping to keep a clean sheet.

Pattem started playing for Wheathampstead Wonderers when she was seven and now plays for Arsenal Ladies. She has, throughout the year, been attending England training camps at St George’s Park in Burton-on-Trent, home of English football and where all the national teams train.

To finally be selected and play an international has been the culmination of a lot of hard work and she was so proud to wear the shirt and play for England.
