St Albans City have made their first foray into the transfer market this summer to sign Enfield Town defender Harold Joseph.
The 22-year-old has also had spells with Barnet, Stevenage, Wingate & Finchley and Hayes & Yeading United.
He made 34 appearances and scored four times for Enfield last season in the Ryman League Premier Division as the Towners finished fourth to reach the end-of-season play-offs, before eventually losing 4-2 to Dulwich Hamlet in the semi-finals.
And Saints manager Ian Allinson, who had identified the defence as an area he needed to strengthen, has moved quickly to snap up his man.
