GOSLING Tennis duo Ed Corrie and David Rice begin their Wimbledon Men’s Singles Qualifying campaign today.
In the first round of the knockout event, Harpenden-based Corrie will take on ninth seed Illya Marchenko on court 16, while Rice will meet German Sebastian Rieschick on court 13.
Corrie will also be involved in the Qualifying Doubles, as he and partner Neil Skupski face a tough ask as they face top seeds Dustin Brown and Rameez Junaid.
Rice has already had a busy Wimbledon campaign, as on Friday he came through the Wildcard Qualifying knockout event, which put him into the main Qualifying section along with club-mate Corrie.
Corrie and Rice both train at Welwyn Garden City’s prestigious Gosling Tennis Academy, in partnership with Global Tennis Communications (GTC).
