OA SAINTS overcame difficult conditions and a long journey to snatch a narrow 5-0 win at Hove.
The Saints spent most of the first half defending in their own 22 and good try-saving tackles from Emma Nicole and Alli O'Donavon kept them in the game.
Saints fought their way back in the second half and some good breaks from the backs saw them gain plenty of territory.
Despite this advantage, the Saints had to rely on a good solid scrum to push the ball over the line with Cath Botherman touching down to score the only try of the game, giving the points to an extremely dirty Saints team.
