Peter Dean has taken to social media to announce his departure from St Albans City,
The striker tweeted today: “Good luck to @stalbanscityfc for the rest of the season and with [your] promotion push. Thanks to everyone involved for my time at the club.”
Dean joined City on January 22 from Wealdstone. He made nine appearance for the Saints, scoring once.
His departure leaves St Albans thin in attack with only John Frendo, who starts a two-game ban on Saturday, Elliot Bailey, George Sykes and Mark Nwokeji, who is returning from injury, as recognised strikers. However, joint manager James Gray highlighted that new signing Warren Whitely could be deployed as a striker.
