FA CUP EXTRA PRELIMINARY ROUND
London Colney 1 Sporting Bengal United 1
PAUL Danslow notched his fourth goal of the season to keep London Colney in the FA Cup at Cotlandswick on Saturday.
The Blueboys went behind with the defence caught sleeping inside a minute as Sporting Bengal United, from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, took the upperhand. Skipper Nizamul Hoque picked up a pass on the left side of the Colney area and cracked home the opener with the defence nowhere to be seen.
Colney came back into the contest as the first half progressed and Danslow was in the right place to slide the ball home after a shot was parried.
The Blueboys had chances to win the match in the second half with a stinging shot from Danslow pushed away by the United goalkeeper.
