Nathan Green has turned down a season-long loan at St Albans City and has instead returned to Dagenham and Redbridge.

The left-sided player joined the Saints on a month loan on November 27 and scored on his debut in a 1-1 FA Trophy draw against Wealdstone.

The former Tonbridge Angel made five starts during his spell at the club, leading joint managers James Gray and Graham Golds to try to extend his loan for the rest of the campaign. The 23-year-old declined the offer, opting instead to return to the Daggers.

He has since left the Daggers by mutual consent and joined Dartford.
