FLAMSTEAD Cricket Club are looking to sign new players and a groundsman ahead of the 2008 campaign.

The Saturday firsts earned promotion to Saracens Herts League Division Seven with a thrilling campaign in 2007 and this year Flamstead are looking to field a third team. The Seconds play in Division 12 and the third team would feature in friendly matches this year with the intention of joining the league in 2009.

Flamstead also field two Sunday XIs and a midweek 20/20 XI. In 2007 they formed an Under 15s side in the Herts North West League and this year plan to field Under 15s and Under 12s teams.

The club are looking for players of all ages and a groundsman to work on the square in a paid capacity. Winter nets have started on Saturday and Sunday mornings at the Choice Cricket Centre in Redbourn and there are two nets on Wednesday evenings for the Colts.
