St Albans City claimed a valuable away point at Havant & Waterlooville in the Vanarama National League South this afternoon (Saturday).
The Saints went ahead when their former Southend United striker Harry Crawford netted his first league goal for the club just before the half-hour mark.
However, on the stroke of half-time ex-Bournemouth forward James Hayter, who holds the record for the fastest ever Football League hat-trick, grabbed the Hawks’ equaliser.
The result leaves St Albans second bottom of the table.
City take a break from the league next Saturday (November 7) as they travel to Grimsby Town in the first round proper of the FA Cup.
