ALDWICKBURY Park Golf Club's efforts in junior golf have been rewarded with nine of its youngest members receiving county call-ups.
The Harpenden-based club has a thriving Junior Academy programme run by head professional Robin Turley, and this was demonstrated by the recent announcement of the Hertfordshire Younger Juniors and Under 13 squads.
Aldwickbury members Joe Booth, George Clark, James Turner-Small and Harry Mahon were picked for the junior squad while Josh Higham, Daniel Davies, Jake Seymore, Charlie Roberts and Josh Small will line up for the Under 13s.
Tristan Hall, general manager of Aldwickbury Park said: "Our Junior Academy programme has been flourishing which is testament to the hard work our professionals put in with the youngsters."
