Sam Corcoran will be re-signing for St Albans City upon his return from California.

The midfielder, who is currently on holiday in San Diego, featured 15 times last season following his arrival at Clarence Park.

His debut was delayed by a foot injury but he cemented his place in the side when he was fit and scored two important goals in City’s promotion charge. The first at Stourbridge in a 1-0 and a perfectly placed left footer, was the fourth goal in the play-off semi-final win at Cambridge City.

In other news, Kerrea Gilbert and Mark Nwokeji have left the Saints.
