Two goals either side of an extended delay due to injury saw Colney Heath Ladies beat Little Thurrock Dynamos for the second time this season.
Holly Sheridan put Kelly Hancock through on goal for the opening goal before she emphatically got her own name on the score sheet with a stunning volley.
In the second half, with Heath leading 2-1, one of Little Thurrock’s players was badly injured and an ambulance called. The teams had to wait for over an hour before the match resumed under the floodlights.
The break refocused the Magpies who added goals from Faith Trounce and Molly Slade to seal an comfortable victory.
The three points saw the ladies move up the table ahead of this weekend’s County Cup semi-final against Hemel Hempstead Ladies FC.
