Colney Heath chairman Martin Marlborough has succeeded in keeping manager Wes Awad for another season.
Awad took the reins at the Magpies last summer and guided them to their highest finish ever - third in the SSML Premier Division - and Herts FA Charity Shield glory before deciding to step down at the beginning of the month.
However, with grand plans to push the club forward, both on and off the pitch, the club wanted Awad at the helm and he has agreed to manage the first team for the upcoming season as they look to win promotion to the Southern League.
A spokesman for the club said: “This is great news for the football club and we are pleased that Wes wants to continue to help the club grow and flourish.”
