Colney Heath continued their very good run of form with a 3-0 home win against St Margaretsbury on Saturday.
The win stretches the Magpie’s streak to one defeat in 16 games.
Jay Welch opened the scoring and Rhys Lawrence doubled the Magpies’ advantage before Jamie Eames finished the job off close to the final whistle with a trademark long range strike.
Manager Wez Awad is hopeful that this form can carry on and make this another successful season at the Recreation Ground as he has assembled a squad that can compete on all fronts.
The Magpies are still in contention at the top of the SSML Premier Division, and are also in the Premier Division, Floodlit and Herts Senior Cups as well as the second round of the FA Vase, in which they face Newmarket Town at home.
