Nothing could separate Colney Heath and London Colney as the first derby of the season ended all square at 1-1.
Jimmy Hill gave the Blueboys the lead at the Recreation Ground but Josh Bronti levelled the game to ensure the Magpies a share of the spoils.
The first half was a tight cagey affair with very few chances, with the best falling to Heath’s Jay Welsh, whose header hit the top of the bar from a corner.
London Colney started the second half well and took the lead as Hill made a good run and finished well as he entered the box, beating the onrushing Ricky Perks.
The Magpies made changes to the side and formation as they battled to get back into the match and eventually equalised as Bronti took advantage of a scramble in the box and finished at the far post with five minutes to go.
