HARPENDEN Badminton Club picked up another good win, this time beating Little Bushey 7-2 away from home at Aldenham School.
Harpenden's first pairing of captain Chris Holland and Roger Lever easily took the first two matches and won their third match despite it being a much closer contest.
The second pairing of Guru Lota and Chandran Pillai played well, taking two of their matches in two games but being pushed to a third game in their final match finally winning 21-13, 21-23, 21-16.
Dave Hill and Jesson Chen played a blinding first match but were unable to find the same form in their other two matches, losing a very close match to Little Bushey's third pair 21-19, 21-19 but it couldn't take the gloss off a fine win for Harpenden.
