St Albans City Youth summer camp

This summer’s St Albans City Youth coaching camp was the best attended in the history of the event.

The camp, spread over three weeks, one at Nicholas Breakspear Astro and two at Highfield Park, saw average numbers of 100 children per day, some even attended every day of the three week camp.

The coaches who help run the event are a product of the City Youth Young Coaches programme which has produced hundreds of qualified Level 1 Coaches over the past 10 years.

A spokesman said: “Special thanks must go to Dean and Brad and all the St Albans City Youth coaches for making the event a success.”

The next coaching camp will be over the October Half Term from October 27-31, once again at Highfield Park.
