Richard Graham has been released by St Albans City.
Graham was last year’s supporters’ player of the year and this season started 30 games, scoring twice. The 33-year-old joined St Albans City during the summer of 2012 from Conference South side Dartford.
Joint manager James Gray said the reason for Graham’s release was a drop in form, individually and in the team.
“The way we’re playing at the moment - we’re not getting the ball down - we felt like we need to change and get a more physical presence in there.”
He added: “Richard’s service to the club has been outstanding. Since Graham [Golds, joint manager] and I took the job he has done really well for us. We wish him the best.”
