Sutton United’s Billy Medlock has joined St Albans City.

The striker replaces John Frendo and joins a Saints attack featuring Simon Thomas and Michael Malcolm.

Medlock made his name with Eastbourne Town in a 26-goal season, which earned him a move to Tonbridge Angels. He joined Sutton in October 2014 and scored five goals in 11 appearances before being loaned back to Tonbridge, where he helped them avoid relegation.

He scored 13 goals in 21 games for Tonbridge last season, including a hat-trick against Herne Bay in the FA Cup. Skip to 2:25, 4:20 and 9:40 to see his goals.

Medlock has also featured for Horsham, Lewes and Eastbourne Borough.
