Sunday was a fun day for Brookmans Park in the Herts Advertiser Sunday League.
With the first team not in action, focus fell on the Reserves and the A team – and both delivered, winning their first league games of the season.
The Reserves had raced into a 2-0 lead at half-time in their Division Two match with Facelad thanks to Joe Cullum and a Michael Bennett penalty.
But despite being reduced to 10 men, Facelad fought back to level with Jerry Clynes and Laurence Wilson on target.
But Park were always the better side and further goals from Henry Chapman and Chris Stephens saw them to a 4-2 success.
And the A team followed suit in Division Four with a superb 6-1 defeat of Royston Rangers Reserves.
Dan Hart scored two and there was one each for Dom Woolard, Adam Sanders, Darren Chillingworth and Danny Clifton.
