Centurions Minis prepare for first taster session

PUBLISHED: 13:19 19 April 2013 | UPDATED: 13:19 19 April 2013

CENTURIONS Minis will be running its first free tag rugby taster session, this Saturday April 20, from 11 to 12 noon at Samuel Ryder Academy.

The tag session is ideal for reception age and years 1 and 2 and no previous rugby experience is required.

Speaking in advance of the session, coach Craig Naylor said: “We have got some fun stuff for the young boys and girls to do, which we are sure they will enjoy. The session is free and so we hope to see as many boys and girls along as possible.

“I am sure they will be love it. If they want to continue, our season runs to the end of August and we run regular training sessions and are involved in festivals. The tag rugby side of the minis is an area we are really looking to push and we hope this taster session will be a great kick-off.”
