ST Albans Centurions kick off the defence of their RLC Premier title on Saturday with a trip to Elmbridge.
The men from Surrey will be looking to gain the scalp of the champions from Colney Heath. Centurions coach Shane Rampling is missing internationals Paul Maloney and Oli Fountain so will turn to youth to bolster his ranks. Rampling said: "It is essential we kick off with a win. I am happy with the strength of the pack but I will need to be fairly creative in the backs as I have several guys unavailable. This should give the opportunity to some of the younger fellas."
Youngsters Dave Hancock, James Sach, Toby Turk and James Rayner are all included in the squad along with experience campaigners Kristian Warner, Roy Dube, Rich Smith, Nick Surtees and England Lionheart Andy Lake. Former West Newcastle prop Al McCully is expected to debut.
