ST Albans Centurions Rugby League Club are hosting a special registration day for players of all ages and experience on Sunday.

The Cents are buzzing after a great 2007 when they won the Southern Premiership, the Southern Grand Final and the National Grand Final following the switch of grounds to Colney Heath. On Sunday the club house is open for all players, fans and friends to join in the fun from 1.30pm.

The rugby action kicks off at 2.30pm when Cents host Hainault Bulldogs in their final friendly before they begin the defence of their Southern Premiership crown on April 26.

After the match junior players from cluster clubs New Greens Gladiators and Hatfield Comets will be presented with medals in recognition of the fantastic winter season they have had. Cents are now running junior Centurions at Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 16s levels.

The Centurions also hope their senior players from the Development Squad and the First Team will sign up again with the hugely successful club, who were last year's Southern Premier League Champions.

For more information on the special deal on offer which includes free season tickets to Superleague side Harlequins RL, post match meals and a club shirt see the website of St Albans Centurions, sponsored by Urbroadband at www.saceturions.co.uk

The Cents are hoping to make the afternoon a real sporting and social event with the game kicking off at 2.30pm, a barbecue, presentations for the Juniors and a well-stocked bar for their parents and senior players.
