James Comley’s superb performances after moving to centre-back have earned him the player of the month for April.
Naturally a centre-midfielder, Comley excelled at the heart of the Saints’ defence alongside Darren Locke for the last three games, which have yielded six points, including fantastic wins over Eastbourne Borough and play-off chasers Gosport Borough.
The award, sponsored by Harpenden Construction Limited, will be presented to Comley prior to this Saturday’s game against Ebbsfleet United by a representative of the Courtyard Café in Hatfield Road, who are the April sponsors.
