FRANCIS Buckler scored for the Under 16s but they lost their season opener in the Watford Friendly League going down 2-1 to Berkhamsted. Dean Birch and Rob Clark both went close to netting for Wanderers as the team were more competitive in the second half. Man of the Match Dominic Brady and defender Richard Disbrey led by example.
