VERULAM 25-mile time trial champion Ian Brazier hit top gear to lead a strong club contingent home in the Norlond Combine Association event on Sunday.
Brazier recorded a time of 56.55 for the 25-mile time trial and there were some other excellent performances, with personal bests for Verulam riders Tim Gray (57:48), Eddie Spriggs (59:02) and Nick Coe (1:03:55).
Mark Drinkwater and Nathan Edwards competed in their first time trial at the distance and performed well.
