DANIEL Meier has become St Albans East Tae Kwon-Do club's first black belt. Daniel took up Tae Kwon-Do at the age of 13 and his black belt is the reward for four years hard work.
Club instructor Adrian Wood was delighted with Daniel's achievement: "He's had to go through four years' rigorous training. He's had to demonstrate various kicks, blocks, punches and sparring techniques. You have to be quite fit and it requires lots of commitment."
The club is for students from five and above and runs on a Tuesday and Friday from 6pm until 7pm. For more information on the club visit their website at www.woodtkd.co.uk
