HARPENDEN Squash Club have received a lottery grant to help with their efforts to introduce the sport to youngsters in the local area. The club were awarded £4,960 and have bought a mobile Squash Wall which can be erected to enable children to take part in a variety of fun exercises based around the sport. England Squash Development is promoting Mini Squash across the country and targeting children aged five-to-11. Harpenden Club Chairman Norman Smith said: "We have run pilot mini squash schemes with two local primary schools and we are delighted that we can now increase the number of programmes we will be running in 2006."
