ST ALBANS CITY FC’s player of the month has been announced.
The accolade, sponsored by Harpenden Construction Limited, has been awarded to Paul Bastock. The 43-year-old shot-stopper was in tremendous form for the first five games, keeping two clean sheets as well as pulling off a number of saves against Corby Town and Banbury to ensure Saints won three points.
The award will be presented to Bastock by the August sponsor, Dave Church, prior to this Saturday’s FA Cup game against Enfield Town.
