Arrows men win team prize in Watford

Harpenden Arrows’ men’s team came first at the Watford Joggers Autumn Cross Country Challenge on Sunday

Steve Speirs won the race, the first of five Arrows in the top 10. Steve Bowran and John Rowlands won the MV40 and MV60 age groups respectively while Brian Yates just missed out on the MV70 crown, coming second .

There were PBs for Chitra Dunn, Andrew Cripps, Graham Harper and Helen MacFarlane at the St Neots half marathon, where 23 Arrows members took part.
