Defender secures deal to remain in Blue Square Bet South
ST ALBANS City will not be able to call upon the services of captain Adam Everitt next season after he signed a deal with Blue Square Bet South side Staines Town.
Everitt, who joined the Saints from Bromley in 2008, leaves Clarence Park after 92 appearances and seven goals.
The 28-year-old was City’s star performer during a difficult campaign last season and was rewarded for his consistent displays in a variety of positions with a clean sweep of the end of season awards.
Meanwhile former defender Ben Martin looks set to remain at Welling United having joined the Wings from City during the latter stages of last season.
