St Albans City Youth had their annual presentation day to celebrate another successful football season.
Held at the Alban Arena, the event needed four separate sessions to accommodate the large number of teams, together with their families and dignitaries.
Across the day 92 teams and 1,400 players received a souvenir brochure documenting each team’s achievements over the campaign.
They also walked away with a customary club pennant.
Each team also voted for their player of the season, with the deserving winners also receiving their prize.
Session three was attended by the ever-growing inclusive section and it was here that special mention was made of one of their coaches and players, Paul Spink who died in April.
The same session also saw a special lifetime achievement award for outstanding service to community sport, presented by the high sheriff, Annie Brewster.
That was given to Ian Woods, who founded the club 53 years ago and is still the club's secretary.
A spokesman said: "Congratulations to all our teams on another successful season, to all our players of the season and those that have achieved 100 & 200 appearances for the club."
