Some days are just nigh on perfect - and St Albans Primary Schools FA has just had one of them.

Their three teams were all in action and all three won, scoring 14 goals between them and keeping three clean sheets.

All three were playing Chiltern & South Bucks, two of them league matches and one a representative game.

The Yellows finished their Southern Counties League campaign with a solid win on the Beaumont astro, goals from Charlie Stewart, Jordan Griggs (two), Max Gibbons, Ollie Hawkes and Rasmus Duncan.

It was a very pleasing performance from the lads as the controlled the game and moved the ball really well.

Chiltern responded by tightening up in the second half but the damage had already been done.

The Blues matched the score at Beaumont, as they reversed a defeat when they last played Chiltern B.

The lads have grown together and played this game as a unit.

Goals from Trey Joseph, Tom Hutton, Kymani Norton-Samuda, Oscar Rowland and Sam Brierley gave a good indication of the way they played.

The girls then hosted Chiltern at Colney Heath School, right after the Year 5 boys' tournament.

And they too kept a clean sheet whilst goals from Lara Taylor, who got both, gave them just reward for their excellent performance.
