Herts Ad Sunday League side Phoenix Res were celebrating after putting their name on a cup for the first time.

A 3-2 success over Strafford Arms Res gave them the top prize in the Herts Ad Junior Cup.

Liam Addlessee, Robert Calancea and Roberto Rosero got the goals to start the party.

Borehamwood Rovers were also celebrating after claiming a 5-1 win over Strafford Arms in the Jim Lynch.

Alban Dynamo made it through to the Herts Ad Intermediate Cup final after a 3-1 win over Hatfield Seniors.

They will play Welwyn Warriors in the final.

The Herts Ad Sunday League Division One title race will go right to the wire after a first loss of the season for Brookmans Park.

What made it worse was the 4-3 loss was to rivals Mermaid who have now gone above them on a far better goal difference with one game to go.

Callum Baylis, David Breeze and Jamie Nelson scored for Park with Matt Doherty, Stephen Maitland, Ben Taylor and Joe Geddes on target for Mermaid.

Park’s reserves had a much better day in Division Four with an 11-1 win over MNF confirming their second place behind champions Welwyn Rangers.

Kieran Barton scored four as Hadham Rovers Yellows won 5-0 against Alban Dynamo Res. Harry Coton got the other one.

Rose & Crown Mosquito are the champions in Division Five after a 9-2 win over rivals Moretown for whom Alfie Packer and Kyle Hellina scored.

Despite scoring five goals through Chris Miller (two), Nick Curtis, Ashleigh Robinson and Ryan Lawler, Royston Rangers Res fell to a 6-5 defeat against St Albans Warriors.

St George's won 2-0 against TNF in Division Three, while back in Division One there was a 3-3 draw between Forever Young People and Wheathampstead Wanderers.

Josh Walton scored two for Wheato with Charlie Pocock getting the third.

Wrestlers star front man Will Orridge smashed a whopping six goals in the Goulding Junior Cup in a 11-1 win over Cub.

Nat Burke (two), Tommy Orridge, Ashley Kingston and Neil Tallant got the others.

Saints beat Wheathampstead 89 5-3 in the same competition.

Robert Rawlings got three and Lewis Cocomazzi two for Saints with Tim Briggs, Charlie Gilroy and Jacob Jones scoring for 89.
