For the second week running Alban Dynamo needed a penalty shoot-out to decide their cup match - and for the second week running they were successful.

Last week they beat Strafford Arms Res in the Herts Advertiser Intermediate Cup, this week the success came against Hertford Club de Futbol in the Hertfordshire Sunday Junior Cup.

Sean Oliver's goal left them 1-1 after normal time before they ran out 7-6 winners in the shoot-out.

Herts Vets also needed penalties against Ashwell, winning 5-4 after a 3-3 draw.

Brookmans Park Res scored the first and last goal of the tie with Glen Sports & Social Club but they conceded nine in the middle of them. Sam Kinsley and Skrdlik Jiri were the Park scorers.

Also scoring nine were Phoenix Res who beat Gossoms End Res 9-1.

Liam Addlesee, Robert Calancea, Jonathan Sebry all hit singles while Jordan Johnson, Michael Langton and Thomas Pike finished with two each.

Two goals from Aaron Puleston turned out to be merely a consolation as Hatfield Seniors Res lost 6-2 against Atletico 99.

A Craig Clark hat-trick put Mermaid Res on their way to a fantastic 8-1 win against Landrovers.

Ken Lee (two), Darren Paterson, Hassan Bhandari and an own-goal put them into the hat for the next round.

Despite a Steven Orchard hat-trick, mistakes proved costly for TNF as they lost 6-5 to St Evenage. Jonathan Tanton and Dan McGoohan got the other TNF goals.

Hayden Evanson’s solo effort was merely a consolation as Welwyn Rangers crashed out 5-1 against East Herts side Cheshunt Rovers and both Garvey brothers were on target as BWSC won 4-3 against BSC, Alex with three and Martin one.

Goals from Kelvin Chirandure, Jack Messam and two from Ryan Lawler gave Royston Rangers a 4-3 win against St Albans Warriors.

Strafford Arms bowed out of the Sunday National Cup with a 4-2 defeat at Borussia Martlesham.

Rose & Crown Mosquitoes of Division Five pulled off an upset in the Herts Ad Intermediate Cup when they beat Harpenden Colts OB Res of Division Two.

The only game played in the Premier Division saw Plough & Harrow and Phoenix draw 0-0.

Michael Nathan and Ben Taylor got two each and the returning Chris Wilding one. Stephen Buckler adding another to his tally for Wheato.

Forever Young People beat Saints 6-0 while Little Heath and Harpenden Colts OB drew 0-0.

A Daniel Stockman goal was the difference against Excel as Division Two leaders Pinewood went four points clear at the top and Welwyn Warriors Res won 1-0 away to Wrestlers in Division Three with Josh Chater the scorer.

In Division Four, Alban Dynamo Res beat Cub 2-1 with goals from Tommy Jones-Fuller and Frank Delacy while Hadham Rovers Yellows kept the pressure on the top two, and their unbeaten run intact, beating MNFC 2-1.

Oliver Billson and Scott Power got their goals.

Moretown made it six wins from six in Division Five thanks to an own goal and a 1-0 win over Phoenix A.
