Premier Division clubs went goal crazy in the latest round of action in the Herts Ad Sunday League.

The division alone had 34 goals in the four games played in what was the highest scoring weekend of the season so far.

But there was plenty of scoring action elsewhere with both league and county cup matches being played.Herts Advertiser:

Premier Division

Skew Bridge beat Paxton Rovers 8-5 with David Keenleyside leading the way with four.

Harry Hunt chipped in with a brace and Tom Smith and Ed Frost got the others. Theophilus Asomah Ofori (two), Kelvin Bediako, Shadrach Onyiah and Steward Yeboah were the Paxton scorers.

Borehamwood Rovers sit top on goal difference and last year’s runners up continued their good form with a 7-2 drubbing of Plough & Harrow.

There were braces for both Louie and Billy Lobjoit with George Grange, Brandon Green and Charlie Frost also notching. Josh Small and Jacob Nygate replied for Plough.

Strafford Arms are second, sandwiched between last years top two, after a 5-0 away win against Six Bells. Jaden Newman, Erivaldo Felix, Max Bradford and two from Steve Weldon gave them the victory.

The final game saw seven goals, Phoenix moving fourth with a 4-3 win over Hilltop. Two from Sam Bozier set Phoenix on their way with Sam McCord and Dan Johnson adding the others.Herts Advertiser:

Division One

Harpenden Colts OB ended Wheathampstead Wanderers' winning streak with a 3-2 win at Toulmin Drive. They were three-up by half-time through Ollie Lacey, Luke Charteris and Dan Bradley but Wheato improved after the break, replying from Rob Clark and Stephen Buckler.

League leaders Welwyn Garden United maintained their 100 per cent record with a 5-0 win over Little Heath. Nathan Studholme, Adam Bacon, Tom Mardle and Ryan North (two) were their marksmen.

Brookmans Park are second following a 3-2 success over The Bull. Adam Page scored twice and Charlie Nelson once with Matt Taylor and Harry Shepherd the Bull's scorers.

Bull keeper Louis Harvey also saved a penalty.

Forever Young People picked up their first win of the campaign, beating Mermaid 3-1 with two goals from Matt Standen and one for Matthew Tuttle. Ben Taylor got the Mermaid goal.

Division Two

Hatfield Seniors thrashed Six Bells Res 13-2 to get back to winning ways.

Charlie Lloyd got five of them and Jimmy Talbot four while there were singles for Gregor Mackintosh, Curtis Warner, Jack Salza and James Upson.

Welwyn Warriors beat Excel 6-0 with Jon Cross-Hackett (two), Gabriel Asare-Bekoe, Luke Pidgeon, Terence McIver and Rowan Wallis on target and there were two goals each from Jacob Jones and Keith Richardson in a 4-1 win for Wheathampstead '89 over Garden City.

Division Four

Mermaid Res stayed top with a 3-2 win over Cub, Ken Lee and Craig Clark among the goals.

Brookman’s Park Res returned to winning ways against MNFC with an 8-2 victory. Sam Kinsley hit four, Ronan Nevin two and there was one each for Bobby Jay and Tom Brasiner.

Hertfordshire FA Sunday Junior Cup

Alban Dynamo cruised into the next round of the county cup with an 8-0 thrashing of Hitchin Sunday League side Lea Sports PSG. Brodie Carrington and Harry Peter got two each with Louis Batstone, Cain Joseph, Ben Smith and Kieran Wall completing the rout.

Goals from Liam Addlesee, Thomas Pike and Regan Williams helped Phoenix Reserves to an impressive 3-0 away win against Watford’s BBFC.

TNF twice let a lead slip but eventually beat Brewster Plumbing Res 3-1 on penalties after a 2-2 draw. James Hart and Tom Anderson scored in normal time while goalkeeper Parag Thaker was the hero in the shoot-out.

Division Three league leaders Strafford Arms Reserves won 6-2 away to Khoi Khoi with a hat-trick from Zac Neiman, two from Luke Watling and one for Joe Cullum.

Royston Rangers won 8-1 against Mayland Forest with two each for Kelvin Chirandure, Ryan Lawler and Jack Messam. Luke Fountain and Harry Parker got the others.

Yassin Abdelkafi’s double helped St Albans Eagles to a 5-3 win over Chorleywood. Simon Cerri, Tyler Martinez Almonte and Jack Woolmore were also on target.

Despite going 2-0 up thanks to Adam Potter and Pasquale Basile, Phoneix A let their lerad slip and eventually lost 6-2 to WGC Stormers.

Hat-tricks for Craig Ashurst and Andrew Hamilton put BWSC in the next round with a 6-1 win over Kimpton.

A Luke Hynes goal wasn’t enough as London Colney United were eliminated by Sparta Phoenix 3-1.

Herts Advertiser Intermediate Cup

Andrew Alsop was on the scoresheet for Pinewood as they overcome Herts Vets 3-1 while Oceans XI needed penalties to overcome Division Five side St Albans Warriors 4-2.

It had finished 2-2 after 90 minutes with Daniel Campfield scoring both for Oceans.
