ST ALBANS Athletics Club enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the National Indoor Championships at Birmingham.
The club had athletes competing in the U20, U17 and U15 events with three athletes making the final of the U15 60m hurdles competition.
Christian Gaddes was the highest placed St Albans athlete winning the bronze medal with a personal best of 8.94. Luke Yaxley came fifth with a personal best of 9.25 and Jason Tang finished seventh with a personal best of 9.32.
All the other athletes deserve credit for their excellent performances particularly Kieran Moos who came 11th in the U17 Men's Long Jump and 10th in the U17 Men's Triple Jump. Jake Awe and Luke Yaxley both recorded personal bests in the U15 Boys 60m competition.
