ST ALBANS City have moved to fill the role vacated by assistant manager Andy Edward's departure last month with the announcement that Mark Peters has joined the club.
It was revealed on the club's website that Peters will also take on a coaching role at Oaklands where he will work with the youth academy.
Peters was named Player of the Season with Kings Lynn in Blue Square North last season and before that was part of the Cambridge United squad that narrowly lost in the Blue Square Premier play-off final at Wembley to Exeter in 2008.
