The Hotshots is an invitational XI made up of players from North Mymms, Hemel Hempstead, Potters Bar and Welwyn Garden City and includes North Mymms’ Aussie star Chris Chellew.

The Harpenden Hawks will be captained on the day by Adam Winchester and Hemel’s Hemish Ilangaratne takes charge of the Hotshots.

The prize is 200 for the winners, with the runner’s up collecting 100.

In true Twenty20 style there will be a PA system and loud speakers with music to accompany all the action and 4s and 6s cards for the crowds.

The bar will be open all day to provide liquid refreshment and the club will be putting on a barbecue from 3pm.

The day, which is being sponsored by Mike Cooper Sports, will end with the raffle and an auction which includes two Harpenden shirts; one signed by Australian legend Shane Warne and the other signed by Sky Sports’ cricket commentators.
