AN INSPIRATIONAL woman whose sense of humour and can-do attitude helped her successful nomination to carry the Olympic torch has run with the flame through St Albans.
Sarah Toll, 47, was excited about being one of 14 chosen to carry the torch through the city today, Sunday July 8.
She was diagnosed with cancer in 2009, underwent rigorous treatment, losing her hair in the process.
However Sarah returned to work, inspiring others with her positive attitude and outlook.
She has also been building up her fitness levels and aims to stay as healthy as possible.
Before the relay, Sarah said it was “awesome” being chosen to carry the torch and being part of a unique event.
