St Albans AC celebrated its athletes at its annual presentation last week.
The evening celebrated the 78 athletes, from U11 to U20, who had competed in the cross country season as well as a number who had taken part in the indoor track season.
The individual award winners were: cross country athletes of the year - Keira Stern, Robert Quigley, Hannah Rayden and Callum Walsh; most improved - Jake Leech, Bea Towers, Freya Weddell and Oliver Davis.
A spokesman said: “We were especially proud of the participation in all the major championships, including the National Cross Country Relays and the nationals last month at Parliament Hills Fields, the historic home of cross country. We also had a large number of country representation where the athletes proudly wore the orange and black vests of Hertfordshire.”
